The International Multidisciplinary Symposium "UNIVERSITARIA SIMPRO" of the University of Petroşani has as main goal bringing together researchers from academia and the industry, so that participants may have the opportunity to know more about research activities on national and international level. It will be an outstanding opportunity to meet and exchange new ideas, to have fruitful and interesting professional discussions besides getting in touch with an old mining town, placed in the picturesque Jiu Valley. We hope that we will turn our meeting into a remarkable scientific success, which will enrich our professional expertise and will bring us wonderful remembrances.
