CALL FOR PAPERS (download PDF)

We invite original paper submissions that describe novel ideas and technologies, applications, experiments and empirical studies, or design techniques within topics of the conference. The Organizing Committee invites you to submit papers to this Symposium, whose Proceedings will be SCOPUS indexed. Full papers should make substantial, novel and relevant contributions to the field.

The benefits of attending are considerable for established academics and new scientists alike.

Apart from the academic benefits, one should also consider the rich social and cultural program that is always associated with UNIVERSITARIA SIMPRO events. Attractive destinations and quality venues ensure an enjoyable stay to all participants. The multinational composition of the attendees often stimulates the initiation of fruitful conversations. The overall experience is always fulfilling. Although this web site is designed to answer any questions you might have regarding the event, feel free to contact us if you have any inquiries.

CALL FOR WORKSHOPS

We invite submissions of half-day (3 hours) workshop proposals on any of the conference topics. Thematic workshops will be conducted as an event, parallel to the SYMPOSIUM. There is limited time and meeting space, that is why the number of presented workshops is in direct dependency with the Oral Session and Invited Session Programme. There is NO additional fee for participating in any workshops if you are registered as a DELEGATE or a LECTURER for the current event.

For any detailed information, please forward your question to simpro@upet.ro.

PUBLICATION

Accepted papers will be published in the Symposium Proceedings and 100 (one hundred) selected papers in a dedicated issue from JANUARY 2017 of the SCOPUS indexed journal „Quality-Access to success” (also indexed in EBSCO, CABELL’S and PROQUEST databases). The articles exceeding the previously mentioned number of 100, will still be published in the Annals of the University of Petrosani-series and Mining Revue Journal, both of them indexed in acknowledged international databases (SCIPIO; RePEc (Research Papers in Economics); EconPapers; IDEAS; D.O.A.J. (Directory of Open Access Journals); EBSCO Publishing Inc.; Cabell’s; IndexCopernicus Journals Master List; ICAAP; (International Consortium for the Advancement of Academic Publication); SOCIONET (Social Sciences Information Space); Genamics JournalSeek; Electronic Journals Index (SJSU); Academic Journals Database; EuroInternet  (The World Wide Web Virtual Library for European Integration); PROQUEST, CABELL’S.) SIMPRO 2016 especially encourages submissions on innovative and visionary new concepts or directions.

Please mind the Symposium deadlines. All papers should be submitted before the final date.

Reviewing process: High content quality is of utmost importance to SCOPUS. Each paper will be reviewed by one reviewer. The review and selection process that scientific committee/editors will conduct for the submissions and papers is single blind review process. Symposium organizers/editors agree to uphold the publishing ethics standards. Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement is based, in large part, on existing Elsevier policies and COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors. Publication malpractice is an unfortunate occurrence in the world of scholarly literature. It happens in all subject areas and in all jurisdictions; and few journals or books are immune.

Publication ethics: The prevention of publication malpractice is the responsibility of every author, editor, reviewer, publisher and institution. The relevant duties and expectations of editors, reviewers and authors of the proceedings are set out below: PUBLICATION ETHICS

Failure to follow these guidelines may result in papers being rejected without review.
